Pool Maps / Conversions
Armada swims at a number of various pools throughout the season. Each pool may not be the same length as our own pool. The Northwest Swim Circuit (NWSC) has published a table that allows you to convert your swimmer’s time to a standard time which is used for calculating Invitational Meet eligibility and standards for Divisionals.

Why do we need pool Conversions
Pool conversions refer to a mathematical formula used to standardize times. When a pool is not the standard competitive length (exactly 25 yards for NWSC), times are converted using a mathematical formula to extrapolate what the time would be in a 25 yard pool.
Pool conversions are set by the NWSC and can be located in the NWSC Meet Directors' Guide (scroll down to p. 17 to find them), here: Meet Directors' Guide - Pool Conversions p. 17
