The Wells Branch Armada [WB Armada] Swim team has been qualified to sell concessions at home games through Levy Corp for the Austin FC Soccer team. As one of the local non-profits participating, we will help serve food and alcohol (think Target self-checkout), stock the shelves for our stand, count the inventory and etc, but there will be no cooking.

In return, up to 10% of the concession sales, plus the tips we earn, will be returned to the Wells Branch Armada. The more volunteers we get, the better stands we get to make more money for our team.

Cover Your Family Sponsorship Requirement  A $50 CREDIT will be earned toward your family's sponsorship fee per shift for each Austin FC game you, a family member, or a friend volunteer (age 18 + only). Please email  if you can participate or have questions. To confirm eligibility, your training certificates must be uploaded 10 days before game day.

All volunteers must be 18+ years of age.

STEP 1: COMPLETE VIRTUAL COMBO COURSE: Texas ANAB food handler & TABC CERTIFICATION [approx. 2-3 hours]. The total cost of this virtual combo course is $18.99. This breaks down to $16.99 for the combo course plus a mandatory $2.00 state filing fee. [TABC Completion certificates are good for 2 years, and the ANAB Certificate is good for 3 years]. 

The WB Armada will reimburse volunteers if they work two shifts and provide a receipt.

STEP 2: COMPLETE LEVY TRAINING VIDEO AND PAPERWORK (Required 1x season).

• Watch the Levy Orientation Video (14 minutes) and download the certificate of completion.Vol/Temp/Subcontractor Orientation

  • For Location: Q2 Stadium
• Review and sign PDF 'Levy Volunteer, Temp, Subcontractor Orientation Paperwork' (received at check-in when volunteering). 

STEP 3: 10-DAYS BEFORE THE VOLUNTEER DEADLINE, UPLOAD PROOF OF TRAINING 

1. Volunteer Registration - WELLS BRANCH ARMADA - CLICK HERE TO UPLOAD
   1. Once the volunteer has completed the Levy Orientation Video + Paperwork, please upload the following:
      1. Levy Orientation Video Certificate of Completion
      2. TABC Certificate
      3. Food Handler's Certificate

STEP 4: EMAIL to let us know you are coming SO WE CAN CONFIRM with Q2 STADIUM YOU ARE ON THE AUSTIN FC SCHEDULE (Before the volunteer deadline)

1. Date of games you can work on, i.e. 6/19. 
2. Confirm that you are 18 years old or older.
3. Confirm all your training was uploaded.
4. Mobile Phone Number

STEP 5: HAVE FUN AT ONE OF THE AMAZING AUSTIN FC HOME GAMES. INVITE FRIENDS AND FAMILY THAT ARE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO HELP.

Help the Armada achieve their fundraising goals to support our coaching and lifeguard fees.  If we can cover our costs, we won't have to raise registration rates for our families.

• Be a part of the Austin FC experience! 
  
  • Make new friends with volunteers, Austin FC fans and Levy staff.
  • Free volunteer parking and shuttles will be available for volunteers. 
  • Free meal: Volunteers will grab lunch (typically a sandwich) upon check-in. IMPORTANT: This meal must be eaten and disposed of before the gates open. No personal food is allowed inside the stands.
  • Austin FC hat and Q2 shirt: You will get a shirt and hat to wear while serving. The WB Armada will pay the fee for your shirt and hat.
  • $$ Earn Credit toward Swim Registration! Invite family and friends. They tell us what swim family they want to support.
    

If you, your spouse, your sister, and your neighbor all help, starting with their third shift, they can note what swimmer or family they want to sponsor, and those credits will be applied to that family's swim registration.

Below are pictures of some of the stands our team could work. Assignments are all dependent on the number of volunteers we bring and how much they can rely on us as a service team.
