Each week the WBA honors the swimmers in each age group who record the largest overall time improvement with a cap and the designation of "Fast Fishy." The names of the Fast Fishy award winners are published weekly in the Armada newsletter. This week, we learned the spreadsheet used to calculate swimmers’ time improvements was not working correctly. As a result, some of the swimmers identified in the newsletter as earning the Fast Fishy award for Saturday’s meet did not actually have the greatest time improvement for their age group. The spreadsheet has been fixed, and we updated the newsletter to indicate the correct swimmers earning the Fast Fishy award. All swimmers who either are currently or were previously recognized in this week’s newsletter as a Fast Fishy will receive caps. We apologize for the error.
