As we gear up for another exciting swim season, we have several important updates and reminders for you. Please take a moment to review the latest news regarding coaches, fundraising, registration, and upcoming events.

We are finalizing details regarding our coaching staff, and the junior coach application is currently open. We’re planning our annual Meet the Coaches event for the end of April just before practices begin. This will be a casual gathering with pizza—no fundraising involved. Stay tuned for confirmed details!

The team will take suit orders and other merchandise orders in our new Swim Shop. The deadline to pre-order merchandise is noon on Tuesday, April 1st. Don’t miss the chance to get your team gear in time for the season!

Sample suits in the smallest sizes will be available at orientation for try-ons.

If you haven’t registered your swimmer yet, don’t wait! Spots are filling up quickly, and some age groups are already at capacity. Secure your child’s spot now to ensure they don’t miss out on a fun and competitive swim season with the Armada!

We’ll keep it updated with all key dates and events.

• Orientation/kickoff sessions: We are working to schedule these at the Rec Center gym. Learn what is new for this year, how practices and meets run, the different volunteering options that help our team run, new ways to meet your fundraising options, and more—hosted by the Armada board and our head coaches.
• Practice start: The afternoon/evening practices will start on April 28th and will switch to morning practices after Memorial Day.

• Swim-a-Thon: This is a fundraising event where your swimmers will have fun setting goals and swimming laps and can enjoy some pizza and treats. Tentative date is June 3rd, pending pool availability.
• Final Fun Friday: We will welcome all swimmers on the last practice day to join us to play at the pool on June 27th.
• Awards Night: Join us to celebrate the end of the season with prizes and awards for your swimmers. Tentatively scheduled for July 1st.
