With just one week left, the excitement is building as our swimmers gear up for Divisionals and the NWSC Invitational Meet. This week, we’re celebrating the dedication of our coaches, recognizing the 44 swimmers who have qualified for Invitationals, our 3rd meat raffle and wrapping up with our last Fun Friday of the summer. Inside, you’ll also find important updates about meets, volunteer opportunities, and upcoming events.

As we head into the last week of the 2025 season, we want to thank all our swimmers and families for making this summer truly memorable. Your dedication, energy, and team spirit have made a big impact both in and out of the pool.

This week is packed with exciting events! On Wednesday, June 25, we will celebrate Coach Appreciation Day. Our coaches have poured so much into our swimmers, let's take a moment to show them just how much we value their support and leadership.

Then, get ready for our final Fun Friday on June 27, a tradition that wraps up the regular season with games, laughs, and lasting memories.

We are especially proud to share that 44 Armada swimmers have qualified for the 2025 Northwest Swim Circuit (NWSC) Invitational Meet! This accomplishment is a true testament to the hard work and perseverance shown by our athletes all season long.

Let’s stay focused and keep up the momentum as we prepare for the Swim Circuit Divisional Meet on Saturday and the Invitational Qualifier Meet on Sunday. This is our chance to finish strong and show everything we’ve worked for this season.

We had an incredible showing at our meet against the Round Rock Dolphins. What a way to return to our home pool! Our swimmers looked confident, relaxed, and ready to race. Across the board, we saw 233 time drops!! An amazing accomplishment that has left the coaching staff in awe. We're so proud of each and every one of you!

It’s hard to believe we’re heading into the final week of the season, a bittersweet moment for all of us. Watching the growth and dedication of our swimmers this summer has been nothing short of inspiring.

We also want to take a moment to thank you, the parents. Your energy, support, and commitment make everything we do possible. There is no Armada without you, we’re beyond grateful.

As we gear up for our Final Fun Friday, practices this week will bring the heat! Coaches will be pushing the pace to help swimmers go after any last goals they’ve set. So get ready, it's going to be an exciting finish to an unforgettable season!

Note about Swim Clinics: Monday, the 23rd, will be our last set of swim clinics!

Next Wednesday is Coach Appreciation Day, and we’re inviting all families to help us celebrate the heart of our team, our incredible coaches and junior coaches! From day one, they’ve poured their time, energy, and expertise into building up our swimmers with skill, confidence, and spirit. Let’s show them how much we appreciate all 10 weeks of their AWESOME dedication!

We’ll have a special set-up at the pool during practice where you can:

🎁 Bring a small treat or gift from the  coach favorites list and jr coach favorites list
🌟 Say thank you with a smile and kind words

The sky’s the limit, let’s shower them with appreciation and gratitude!

Swimmers and parents, the time has come to celebrate the end of our 2025 season with one last big splash! Mark your calendars for Final Fun Friday on June 27, a high-energy, joy-filled morning packed with relays, games, cannonballs, and plenty of laughs.

Final Fun Friday is a full-team celebration led by your Armada coaches (who will also be jumping in on the fun!). Expect a schedule of creative and wacky relays for all ages, plus friendly competition between swimmers, parents, and coaches. Whether you’re racing in a T-shirt or paddling in a floatie, there is something for everyone.

Parents, bring your suits and goggles! This is your chance to get in the pool and join the fun. Prefer to stay dry? We’ll need volunteers to help run events and serve sno-cones, sign up on SwimTopia or reach out to Ben at [email protected] or (512) 351-1095.

Tentative Schedule:

• 7:30–8:45 AM – Ages 11+ Relays (Rock, Paper, Scissors, Matchbox Car, T-Shirt, and more!)
• 9:15–10:30 AM – All Ages Relays (Family, Parent vs Coaches, Noodle Relays, Ping Pong, and more)
• 10:30–11:30 AM – Fun & Games for All (Cannonball Contest, Biggest Splash, Floatie Races)

Mark your calendars - this is a special evening you won’t want to miss!

The Wells Branch 4th of July Parade is a favorite neighborhood tradition, and Armada is marching again this year!
Swimmers and families are invited to walk with the team and show off their Armada pride. Wear your team shirt, bring festive decorations, and help us make a splash in red, white, and blue!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered in at our last home meet! Your helped made it a success.

A few notes to make the last few meets run even more smoothly:

If your swimmer(s) are in a meet, you must volunteer! Our team is small compared to most of the teams that we meet with. We have over 100 jobs to fill at every meet and just over 100 swim families registered. This means that most meets I'm scrambling to fill spots. I can help you find the spot that best suits you and your family's needs. Not sure if you'll make it this week? Text Juli at 940-453-8343 to let me know.

Volunteer signups for our eigth meet (Invitationals at Round Rock Aquatics Center) go live on Tuesday at 12:00 PM (Noon). Set a reminder and grab your favorite job early!

If something urgent comes up (illness, emergency), please notify Juli Thatcher immediately at 940-453-8343 so we can adjust accordingly. Last minute scratches are very hard to fill volunteer roles and it's even more challenging to rearrange heat sheets or disappoint the kids when a relay is cancelled.. Every extra minute of notice is appreciated!

The NWSC Invitationals meet at the Round Rock Aquatics Center, is our last meet of the season! The Invitational Swim Meet is with every team in the circuit, but only swimmers with a qualifying time (2025 Invitational Times) are eligible to compete in this meet. Check the list of events your swimmer qualified so far for the 2025 Invitationals here.

• Setup Time: 7:00 AM – If anyone can help set up, please arrive early
• Arrival Time: 7:45 AM – Be on time and check in right away

• Meet Start: 9:30 AM
• Events: Swimmers may compete in up to 4 individual events

Those swimmers that qualify for the invitationals at the divisional meet will have the chance to register on Saturday June 29 the afternoon after the divisional meet.
