Thank you for an amazing 33rd swim season! It’s been a privilege to be a part of such a great team. The events at the Awards Ceremony, Final Fun Friday, Divisionals, and Invitationals were an amazing ending to the season. 

It has been a joy to celebrate the accomplishments of all our swimmers. Special thanks and congratulations to our aging-out swimmers and their families. We miss you already and wish you well. We hope you come back to visit soon.

For anyone who missed awards night, or wants to review the presentation, the links are provided below. I've also attached PDFs of the award certificates for Rookie, All Invitational, and Perfect Attendance.

PLEASE check your family file boxes for ribbons and awards from Divisionals or Invitationals. The boxes are at the lifeguard office at the Willow Bend Pool through the end of July. Please be sure to stop by during that time. If you need to make other arrangements, please get in touch with me to do so.

And that's a wrap! We're not crying, you're crying!

The coaches are so proud of each swimmer who came and practiced with 100% effort each day, challenged themselves at meets to swim their best and try new events, enthusiastically cheered on their teammates, and proudly represented Armada everywhere they went. Parents, thank you for trusting us with your children. Thank you for bringing them to practice, spending endless hours working the swim meets, asking and learning the strokes so you could practice with them outside of swim, giving many wet hugs to either celebrate or comfort depending on how the race went and just being there. Due to this hard work we had 155 time improvements at Divisionals! 

ARMADA IS FAMILY. We start our season as a team of people from different schools, jobs, and neighborhoods and finish as a bonded team. Thank you for that amazing experience and for letting us lead this awesome group!

A quick shoutout to our kids that made it to Invitationals, out of the 34 events across our 17 swimmers, 24 were time improvements! Congratulations to y'all!

This being our first year as head coaches and captains of this Armada, we couldn't have asked for a better crew of swimmers to lead!

Armada had 18 swimmers qualified in 59 separate events for the Invitational meet held on Sunday, July 9. Two new swimmers qualified for the Invitational meet during Saturday's Divisional meet.
